Secondary Beginner Wind Instruments – no experience necessary!

Fridays, 14.25-16.00
What: A relaxed class learning how to play wind instruments: flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, horn, trombone, or euphonium.
Cost: Cost of rental instrument: 20-40 EUR/Monat (rent-to-buy from Musikhaus-Martin or you may find your own), 12 EUR book fee, material costs depending on instrument (oil, reeds, etc.)
We will meet on Friday, Oct. 26, at 14.25. I will have instruments there available for you to try out. Feel free to bring your parents with if they want to see the instruments! The instruments will be available there to rent or you may think about it for one week or find your own.
If you can't come on that afternoon (I'm aware some people are already going out of town), feel free to try out these instruments at any local music store and make a decision. FOR PRIMARY and SECONDARY students with at least 2 years of playing experience or by audition:
Have a violin in your room at home sitting around waiting to be played? Want to dust off your summer clarinet chops? Come join the ESF orchestra! We meet on Tuesdays from 4:20-17:45! We rehearse to play concerts, go on tour and improve our musical skills.

For grades P4 and P5 (P3 allowed in on individual cases with teacher recommendation).
Beginning Band is for students with no or very little previous experience playing an instrument who are beginning to study an instrument with a private teacher. This course, parallel to private instruction, develops ensemble skills from the very beginning. We meet on Tuesdays from 15:15-16:00 and on Fridays from 13:15-14:00. Sometimes we meet as a large group, and sometimes we meet in smaller sections depending on the week.
