Welcome to the website of the European School Frankfurt
The European Schools are official educational institutions established in the 1950s and jointly supervised/run by the governments of the Member States of the European Union. They are state schools in their respective host countries. The European School Frankfurt (ESF) is one of 13 schools in six countries (Belgium, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Spain) and was opened in 2002.
The school offers quality education from nursery to the European Baccalaureate in a multicultural and multilingual environment.

School Closes for Summer Break – See You in September!
As the school year comes to a close, we want to thank all our students, parents, and staff for a wonderful year of learning, growth, and achievement. From classroom successes to school and sports events, it has been a memorable journey.
School will officially close for the summer holidays on 5. 7. 2025. We encourage everyone to enjoy a well-deserved break, spend time with family and friends, and stay safe.
We look forward to welcoming students back for the new school year on 2. 9. 2025. Until then, have a happy and restful summer!

The Timeline project
In the S3 art project students selected important inventions, personalities from all areas and eras, architecture, instruments, works, books, etc. and painted bubble with acrylic or gouache colour in the correct place.

We are very proud of our art and music students
This year, before the Bac-session, our art and music students of the S7 organized a wonderful evening event with the help of other featuring a concert, an exhibition of the Art-prebac, and five major artworks, including a very large canvas featuring a painting created with body prints, an installation, a large hanging mobile, a sculpture, and two live performances in collaboration with the music students.

S3enA Students Show Respect for Wildlife – A Fundraising Success!
As part of this year’s RESPECT Week, the students of class S3enA, together with their class teacher Mrs. McInerney, decided to focus on an important and often overlooked topic: respect towards wild animals in our local habitat. The students learned about the tough life some of the wildlife has due to sharing their habitat with humans and how we all can support and help animals in need.
